Castiel heard the rumble of the Impala as a flash of headlights slid across the windows in the motel room.  Sam had made himself scarce after helping Cas set up the tree and explaining the importance of these human customs that Cas still didn't get. He'd been with the guys for years now and sometimes he really just didn't understand humans anymore than he first did when he was sent to the Winchesters. He heard the jingle of keys at the door and disappeared. Dean sighed as he walked through the door, head down, eyes heavy.
